It's with much regret that I must announce the passing of a good friend, a wonderful talent and a New Orleans icon, Miss Connie Marcelle. Connie passed away June 22nd, 2008 in Seattle, Washington. After surviving Hurricane Katrina with us at Starlight for 8 days after, she evacuated to Cincinnati, OH where she lived for two years. She performed her signature number, Bayou Moon at Gay Pride 2007 in Los Angeles where she met up with old friends and moved to Seattle to be near them soon after. Connie, You will be missed!!! A celebration of life will be on Sunday, July 27th, 8PM.
